PlaasPlan Privacy Policy
Last updated: 20 July 2026
PlaasPlan ("the app") is a farm management application operated by Wiets Behr ("we", "us").
This policy explains what information we collect, why, and your rights under the Protection of
Personal Information Act (POPIA) and the GDPR.
Information we collect
- Account details: your email address, name and optional phone number, used to create and secure your account.
- Farm data you enter: livestock records, diesel logs, field and crop entries, tasks, finances and attachments. This data belongs to you.
- Subscription status: if you subscribe to PlaasPlan, our payment partner RevenueCat and Google Play process the payment. We never see or store your card details. We receive only your subscription status (active, trial, expired).
- Technical data: basic device and diagnostic information needed to run and improve the app.
How we use it
- To provide the app: your farm data syncs to our database (hosted by Supabase in the EU, eu-west-1) so you can access it across devices and share it with farm staff you invite.
- To manage your subscription and unlock Pro features.
- To respond to support requests.
We do not sell your personal information or your farm data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
Sharing
- Supabase (database and authentication hosting, EU region).
- RevenueCat (subscription management), Apple and Google (payment processing).
- Farm members you invite can see the farm data of that farm, according to their role.
Retention and deletion
Your data is kept while your account is active. You can delete your account and all farm data you
own at any time in the app under Settings → Delete account, or by emailing
wietsdev@gmail.com. Deletion is permanent.
Note that deleting your account does not cancel an active store subscription — cancel it in your
App Store or Google Play account settings.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time.
Contact wietsdev@gmail.com. You may also lodge a
complaint with the Information Regulator (South Africa).
Changes
We will post any changes to this policy on this page and update the date above.
